While there are various backgrounds and dialogue options, the character designs follow a similar style–a visually obvious quality.
The only limitation with this app is that there is only one animation style. So if you need to rearrange the lines, you can just drag the dialogue cards and reorder them. What makes this Plotagon app convenient is that each line is represented by a separate card. In inserting dialogues, you can either type their lines and have it spoken by the preset voice that comes with the character or you can lend your own voice through a recorded dialogue. There are main characters, whose dialogues you can edit, and extras. After the background, you can start inserting characters from the app’s wide range of preset character designs into your scene. Then, you will be given the option to choose from over 200 backgrounds. This does not make it a bad app, but it is important to understand its limitations.When you start Plotagon Story, you will be asked to start a new project by adding a scene through the movie clapper icon. That being said, the finished videos are not up to a professional standard, and Plotagon is no replacement for experienced 3D animators and filmmakers. It is undoubtedly a good tool for inexperienced filmmakers to get started. With a vast array of options to choose from in all aspects of the scene, it is a surprisingly versatile piece of software that can be applied to narrative-driven art and video presentations alike. In terms of the amount of skill and effort required, the results produced by Plotagon are very impressive. A good starting point but not a professional tool There is also a range of computer-generated voices to choose from, but a user with a flair for voice-acting might choose to use the recording function to record real voice dialogue. The app has a vast array of locations, characters, and animations to make give each scene with, as well as effects that can be applied, such as a retro black and white movie effect.
